The Boston Celtics took Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Indiana Pacers with a hard-fought 111-105 victory on Tuesday night. Despite leading by 21 points at one point, the Celtics allowed the Pacers to rally back and make it a close game in the final minutes.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points, while Jaylen Brown added 23 points. Malcolm Brogdon paced the Pacers with 27 points, while Tyrese Haliburton added 22 points.
Celtics Favored to Advance
Despite the close Game 1 victory, the Celtics remain the heavy favorites to advance to the NBA Finals. Boston is a whopping -1100 favorite to advance, while the Pacers are a +700 underdog.
